Overall
Vision
Originality Technique ImpactOkay, lets see what I can do here.
The overall anatomy looks good, though the size of Shade's ear bugs me a bit. Shade's wings also seem to be a bit thin, like paper, and they get to skinny where they connect to his back.
The coloring appears to go out of the lineart in certain spots, and the lineart for the other character's eye looks wobbly. It also looks a bit wobbly on other parts too.
The shading is great, the colors seem to melt together just right.
It is not a very original idea, though.
Also, I think the background is beautiful bdhgsdfsdf. ;w;
